Abstract

I will present a simple framework to describe the DNA unzipping, which is the separation of the two DNA complementary strands by a mechanical force. I will describe the experiments and theory of DNA unzipping and rezipping at fixed force or fixed displacement with a particular focus on the perspective of DNA-sequencing or DNA-identification through these experiments.
