Presentation

My work aims to uncover how the brain combines information from multiple senses (multisensory integration); a fundamental neural process, impaired in conditions including schizophrenia. To achieve this, I will study both the larval zebrafish brain and simulated neural network models by working with Dr Volker Bormuth at Sorbonne Université, and undertaking a secondment with Dr Dan Goodman at Imperial College London. Ultimately, my work will provide insight into a fundamental process of relevance in health and disease and, in-line with DIM ELICIT, empower neuroscience by harnessing innovative imaging and computational technologies.
